Gambles & Naeth Take Honors @ Ironman 70.3 Boulder

The super-personable triathlete from Tasmania, Australia, who has spent the past four summers in Boulder, biked 2:03:35 and put together a very fast 1:15:50 to run away from the field. His time of 3:45:35 was six minutes faster than second place, Raynard Tissink (3:51:41). Canadian Angela Naeth has over a dozen second-place finishes at the 70.3 distance. One of the most prolific cyclists in the sport, Naeth was clearly overwhelmed with her win. Holding back tears, her first words were “I finally did it … and I’m so happy I did it here in Boulder.”
