Cave & Bozzone Win Ironman 70.3 Miami

LEG LUBE: Leanda Cave continued on her late season mastery, while Terenzo Bozzone notches his second Ironman 70.3 win in his injury-shortened season at the IRONMAN 70.3 Miami.

THE MEN’S RACE: A lead pack of ten exited the water within 45-seconds of each other, led by Spain’s Francesco Gody. Following him was Italy’s Alberto Casadei, German’s Christian Ritter and Nils Frommhold, Colombian Andres Castillo, Kiwi Terenzo Bozzone, Switzerland’s Filipe Van de Wyngard and Aussies Matty Reed and Luke Bell (Matty is a LEG LUBE Performance Shave Gel fan).

THE WOMEN’S RACE: Great Britain’s Jodie Swallow lead the women’s field out of the water with a 23:23 swim time. The 2012 IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 world champion, Leanda Cave, was 28-seconds back while Brazil’s double Olympian, Carla Moreno, headed to the transition 1:05 off Swallow’s pace.
