1. Familiarize yourself with the course
2. Hydrate well the day before the race
3. Don’t overeat they day before
4. Arrive at the venue early
5. Don’t apply sunblock immediately after getting your body-marked – it smears
6. Apply anti-chaffing cream or lubricant in sensitive areas
7. Get a bike tune-up before a week before the race
8. Bring two sets of goggles
9. Position yourself properly for the swim start
10. Keep your line. Don’t weave on the road.
